Pink L. Folmar, Jr., M.D., A.B.I.M.

Dr. Folmar earned his Medical Degree and completed his Residency in Internal Medicine from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Dr. Folmar practiced at Simon-Williamson Clinic in Birmingham for over 29 years where he served in multiple positions including President.. After a successful career with Simon-Williamson, Dr. Folmar practiced rural medicine in Brundidge, Alabama with Pike Internal Medicine for 5 years. Dr. Folmar has now returned to Birmingham and is working at MedHelp Lakeshore. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and is accepting new patients.

Dr. Folmar has received many awards including “Internist of the Year,” for the State of Alabama. He is a member of the American Medical Association, Medical Association for the State of Alabama, American College of Physicians, American Society of Internal Medicine, Birmingham Society of Internists and the Alabama Society of Internal Medicine. Dr. Folmar has served as President of the Medical Association of the State of Alabama, American College of Physicians, Birmingham Society of Internists, and the Alabama Society of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Folmar is married to Miriam and they have three children and three grandchildren.
